To recognize radio and TV broadcasters of the year, the client was looking to create commemorative awards. Regarding the design, the PAB team wished to incorporate the image of an old school microphone into a unique and cost-effective piece.
To recreate a dimensional microphone and respect the client’s budget, we chose to use 3D lasering. This process is more budget-friendly than creating a custom mold. We shaped pieces of clear crystal to complement the shape of the engravings, and then we got to lasering. From the microphone to the personalization, we lasered everything to create a one-of-a-kind effect.
