The team at Cristaux was challenged with coming up with a design that used EXHIBITOR Magazine’s Expo Awards’ main materials, crystal and metal. Since this was an event that took place in the Middle East, they also requested gold and black elements.
We produced an award that emanated the branding as a whole. By shaping a piece of black crystal like a modern building, we used that black façade to etch the design personalization. We were able to etch and color fill against it, and then we brought the piece together by positioning it on a gold electroplated base. The final piece was a symbiotic mix where the gold and black came together in unison.
