Cristaux is looking for a creative and savvy Marketing Manager to help drive sales, traffic, and awareness of the Cristaux brand through strong marketing campaigns across all channels. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for establishing, enhancing, and continually responsible for innovating our current marketing channels and directly spearheading new innovative ways to promote our capabilities. The ideal candidate must have at least 5-7 years of work experience. This individual must have a thorough understanding of e-commerce, CMS management, email marketing campaigns, content marketing, SEO/AdWords, public relations, and social media with the intent to fully optimize the potential inbound revenue.

Specific Position Requirements:

  • Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. Continually generating and implementing new and innovative ideas by adjusting marketing plans and forecasts to achieve company sales and marketing revenue goals.
  • Oversee and maintain a thorough understanding of the day-to-day operations of our Shopify e-commerce store, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Maintain and update main website content on WordPress.
  • Microsite buildout, design, and upkeep, as well as program reconciliation oversight.
  • Work in tandem with our web partners for proper integration and optimal results on all platforms.
  • Track and analyze both e-commerce and main website metrics. This will include traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value, page rankings, etc.
  • Oversees and continually optimizes website design and landing pages and updates alignment with company branding as needed.
  • Analyze customer journey data and feedback to identify opportunities for improving the online experience for both platforms.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales Departments and partners to implement strategies that enhance user interface, navigation, checkout process, and customer service.
  • Responsible for all media and marketing efforts including overseeing, creating, and approving creative campaigns, producing, and publishing copy (advertising, press releases, social media postings, blogs, etc.) and aligning content with sales initiatives.
  • Responsible for growing and expanding all social media channels.
  • Manages marketing operating budgets.
  • Develop, track, and manage progressive website traffic through advertising activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail through Google Ads and other paid search campaigns.
  • Ensures effective control of marketing results and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
  • Oversees preparation of marketing activity reports and presents to executive management.
  • Continually refines marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
  • Strengthen current media partnerships and seek out additional partnership opportunities.
  • Perfect and continually optimize SMO and Google AdWords campaigns to meet company goals and departmental quotas.
  • Manage Cristaux branding – email signatures, external and internal documentation.
  • Oversee, manage, and implement strategy for sponsorships.
  • Coordinate and create internal documentation and content copy – team newsletters, sales material, SOP, shipping templates, accounting Etc.
  • Oversee and implement photography + videography strategy while utilizing materials in strategic campaigns.
  • Day-to-Day management of Digital Content Marketing Specialist and additional Marketing team members

Position Type

This is a full-time position. Typical working hours are 8 am-4:30pm. Communication and access to emails after hours as needed. Once trained, the candidate may work remotely and from our Elk Grove Village facility.

Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree. Minimum 5-7 years of related marketing management experience. Will preferably have a degree in Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent.

Qualifications and Physical/Mental Requirements

The Marketing Manager must have direct experience working in the back end of e-commerce stores and a CMS (WordPress preferred). Experience using Microsoft Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud Applications. Must be prepared to oversee, strategize, and enhance all websites to encourage a better end user experience.
