The client wanted to create an award for their Tournament of Champions (TOC). They wished to see how we could use the card suits to develop a complex design. Driven by innovation, we were excited to show them what we could do.
To start, we cut the four card suits out of aluminum pieces. We wanted to further distinguish each suit and to incorporate the WPT brand. Thus, we colored each piece a different hue from the company image. We coated the aluminum with a protective compound to ensure strong and striking finishes. To complete the concept, the base was shaped like a poker table. In all, the award weighed 28 pounds. It was a weight fit for all the hard work put into this international event.
