The Challenge

With an extensive distribution system, Cupcake works with outstanding partners to make their goals. With select distributors moving more than one million cases of wine a year each, Cupcake wanted to recognize this exceptional feat and it’s positive effect on their overall growth.

The Solution

Cupcake Vineyards, a truly iconic brand – needed to look no further than their own mascot – the cupcake. A fitting and memorable object of recognition, Cristaux began the process of replicating the brand’s cupcake out of crystal for the award. As the process moved forward, the team determined that the scale of the project was much larger than expected and that crystalgel would be a more fitting medium for the scope and scale of the order. By leveraging the benefits of polyresin, the Cristaux team sized the cupcake similar to that of a bowling ball. Both the client and recipients were taken aback by the impressive quality of the award, exclaiming they ‘had never seen anything like it’!
