AT&T is a leading provider of broadband service and software-based entertainment. Its team is dedicated to supplying and supporting connection for its customers.
The AT&T team presented Cristaux with a unique and seemingly impossible task. They wanted us to create awards that captured the image of an illuminated, floating triangle. Our main obstacle was to figure out how to engineer this concept. How would we feed light through the bottom of an upside-down triangle?
For a modern effect, we machined the award out of polished aluminum. We then attached the triangle to the base and hollowed out the entire piece. This way, we could run electric lighting through the whole award. To finish, we crafted an acrylic part to cover the metal’s front edge.
