The Challenge

As one of America’s fastest growing digital media companies, Vox Media maintains an authoritative house of brands to target specific users. In order to create a more personalized experience for the ‘Racked’ editorial brand, a daily shopping resource, the company sought to create a specialized and unique award using the Bloomingdale’s “Brown Bag” as design inspiration.

The Solution

Cristaux designers engaged in a rigorous development process, working in 3D. Cast in polyresin, the bag was given realistic curvature, dimension and included every detail of the ‘Bloomingdale’s’ bag. Complete with handles, each ‘Racked’ award is ‘smart, accessible, and 100% shoppable’, reflecting the spirit of the brand.
