The MassRoots team wanted to applaud a business milestone with a custom deal toy. For the piece’s design, the client wished to recreate their one-of-a-kind app in luxurious crystal.
To incorporate the client’s fun personality and technological background, we replicated a smart phone out of crystal. Then, we used an acetate treatment to personalize the panel. For this process, we printed a high-resolution image on a thin film. Next, we embedded the film in between two pieces of clear crystal for a clean look. Last, we fabricated a base from black crystal to get the most out of the elegant material for an exciting client and achievement.
