The client sought out the Cristaux team to develop custom creations for their Golden Cylinder Awards program. They envisioned a golden replica of the gravure cylinder central to its namesake printing process. However, the project’s budget did not allow us to create a mold for the awards or use gold in the design.
We first decided to fashion the awards out of crystal. This way, we would create prestigious yet valuable pieces. We specifically worked with amber crystal to reflect the golden concept. Although we first struggled with engineering the posts, we persisted and refined our skills to present cost-effective and striking pieces for GAA.
