The Challenge

The Digiday team approached Cristaux in hopes that the fragility of their current recognition designs could be relieved. The program design itself is bright and vibrant with electronics built into the design, and they traditionally used neon sign manufacturing methods. Unfortunately, this left the program susceptible to damage with replacements that were very expensive and had to be frequently produced.


The Solution

We got to work and recreated the design using a more modern approach. Instead of neon lights, we used LED’s which are a lot more durable than the fragile glass used in the previous design. And in the end, we were still able to achieve same, if not better, result of radiant light for each of the branded colors for their programs.
